| Name: | Homunculus |
|---|
If you've played Shadow of Destiny, you know who he is. And that's usually a good reason to run away. Quickly. This character is not mine, and I am not using him for any cash reason...strictly a role-playing one.
☆ Character: Homunculus
☆ Series: Shadow of Destiny
☆ Character Age: unknown; appears about 13 or maybe 15
☆ Special Abilities/Powers: time travel, teleportation, Phenomenal Cosmic Powers (tm). All now removed
☆Timeline: after the game
☆ Character's Personality: Cold, seemingly uncaring. He finds humans amusing playthings...almost like a child with his toys, but in a far more subtle manner. He enjoys pulling people's strings, giving subtle hints to guide them on the path that -he- wants them to follow. Out of touch with human morals...and therefore has no concept of their right and wrong. That being said, he's very good at hiding his secrets...
☆ Character's Background: While his body was artificially created nearly five hundred years ago, his soul is far older. No one really knows what he is, or where he came from, only that he enjoys watching humans from a window in his Sanctuary and only rarely interacting with them. In fact, only one. Now of course, he'll have to.
☆ Third Person Sample: The boy was sitting on his bed, feet hanging over the edge, kicking slightly. He wasn't normal, anyone could see that. His skin was nearly white, offsetting his shoulder-length black hair and red eyes. Red eyes? Blood red, to be exact. Eerie. That was a good term to describe him. But at least he wasn't a zombie nurse.
He glanced over suddenly, a smile crossing his face slowly as he regarded his visitor. The smile...almost evil, or maybe sweet. It was hard to tell. He stood from his bed, staying where he was. A childish tilt of his head, almost in amusement.
"Hello there. I suspect that you are trapped here as well?" The voice wasn't a child's. Quiet, nearly monotone in its pronunciations, with a strange echo emanating that shouldn't, in these rooms. Again, not human. Far from human. Unnerving. Was he really a patient, or one of the creeps that ran this place? Hard to tell, between that smile, and the way he watched whatever he looked at with the look of a mischievous child.
☆ First Person Sample: How interesting. How did they know that midnight is my favorite time? Everything is dark, quiet...the entire world at rest. Then, at least...it can be my time. No staring, no mistaking me for something else.
Full-moon nights are even better. Bathed in silver, quiet light that isn't as awkwardly obvious as sunlight. Would be better if there was snow. I do so love picturesque views. Hopefully there won't be too much screaming. It's such a distraction.
Why they think me insane...I suppose I can't really blame them. After all, I'm not precisely what people would consider 'normal'. I'm nothing they can wrap their small, closed minds around. My very existence violates the doctrines of perhaps five of their religions. Something tells me that these men who hold me here aren't especially religious. Or even human, for that matter.
☆ Questions/Comments: Homunculus has no need to eat or sleep as a result of his artificial body. He lives up to his name, after all. However, he is very physically weak, and tires easily. In a word on his overall state...he is 'fragile'. Handle with care.In fact, he's not a homunculus in the true sense of the term, but a certain kind of genie. Also, a certain pentagram has the ability to return him to the form of a small red crystal, from which he is summoned. V.V But the mun can't draw it worth crap.
